SEZ-RELATED TAX CREDIT

With regard to investments specifically made within Special Economic Zones (SEZs), Article 5(2) of Decree-Law No. 91 of 20 June 2017, converted with amendments by Law No. 123 of 3 August 2017 (as amended), extended tax credit applicability as per former Article 1(98 and subsequent paragraphs) (Credito d’imposta investimenti nel Mezzogiorno (Investment-related tax credit in Southern Italy)) of Law No. 208 of 28 December 2015.

Via provision dated 9 August 2019, the Agenzia delle Entrate (Italy’s Revenue Agency) defined the procedures for submitting the communication for tax credit application on investments within SEZs.

As provided for in the related compilation instructions, below is the list of Municipalities, or portions thereof, included in the SEZ.


LIST OF MUNICIPALITIES (OR PORTIONS THEREOF) INCLUDED IN THE SEZ AS TO PUGLIA REGION

The following documents lay down the territorial units (parcels) wholly or partially included in the SEZ. With regard to those partially included, clarifications may be requested to the following regional offices, with specific reference to the territorial identification limits as per the Strategic Development Plan annexed to the President of the Council of Ministers’ founding Decree (DPCM) adopted at the time.

GOVERNMENT-APPOINTED EXTRAORDINARY COMMISSIONER

Call for applications: Selection of 1 technical managerial unit and 4 non-managerial units, public administration employees pursuant to Art. 1(2) of Legislative Decree 165/2001, to be assigned to the support structure of the Government-appointed Extraordinary Commissioner of the Adriatic Interregional Special Economic Zone (SEZ) of Puglia-Molise.

Applications must be formalised via an ad-hoc form (Annex 2) to be addressed to the Extraordinary Commissioner of the SEZ via certified e-mail (pec) to

commissariozes.adriatica@pec.agenziacoesione.gov.it

Applications must be sent ONLY from a personal certified e-mail (pec) address and the subject line of the message must bear the following wording: “Interpello struttura di supporto Commissario straordinario del Governo ZES Adriatica interregionale Puglia-Molise”.

Applications (Annex 2) must be delivered, under penalty of exclusion, no later than h 12.00 noon on 11 July 2022.
