INFORM EU is a European network of communication officers in charge of communicating EU and Member States’ investments under shared management for the following EU Funds:

  • Regional Policy: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Just Transition Fund (JTF), and Cohesion Fund (CF);
  • Social Policy: European Social Fund (ESF+);
  • Home Affairs: Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), Border Management and Visa Instrument (BMVI) and Internal Security Fund (ISF);
  • Maritime Affairs: European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).

In addition, the INFORM EU Network covers the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), a temporary instrument to help Member States cope with the socio-economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and build a more sustainable and resilient Europe.

The ultimate goal of the Network is to promote the expertise of Member States and regions in the field of EU communication, visibility and transparency, while creating a platform for cooperation between the European Commission and EU programmes under shared management.

It aims to improve visibility of EU actions at national, regional, and local level through:

  • Exchange of experience and good practices in the implementation of information and communication actions;
  • Coordination of communication activities between the Member States and the Commission;
  • Evaluation and discussion of strategies to increase reach and impact of communication activities.

For more information and materials on the Network’s plenary meetings, refer to the European Commission website.

Network’s plenary meetings are complemented with in-depth meetings with Member Country teams.
